ABP #06: Why so fantastic?

Although I have a sinking feeling that blogging is sort of turning into the "ning" of this year (if you guys still remember that from last year), I know I've at least enjoyed reading all the blog posts you guys all wrote so far. I think it's a fantastic opportunity, to be able to have so much content written by your peers available to you so readily and easily, ranging from the mundane to the lulzy to the trollish to the insightful. As for myself, I know that I kinda lost steam, because I've always found it easier to plan, to read than to actually write myself. This post is to spark me into writing something instead of blankly staring at my incomplete creative writing. And talk about how amazing you all are. WHY SO FANTASTIC?

I have to say, I've really enjoyed reading this blog in particular. Maybe its because I love the abstract nature of everything on that page. Maybe its because the insights made hit a little too close to home (the limbo posts, in particular, I heartily empathize with). Maybe it's the pokemon post. But it's really fabulous writing.

I've also really enjoyed this one as well. The sheer multitude of posts made, coupled with the complete lack of limits on what's written and the amazing writing style... it's fantastic reading for me and I love it all.

If I didn't mention a blog, it's definitely not because I haven't read it because I definitely have read everything on that sidebar and then some. There's some fantastic writing out there that if I really wanted to remark on, I would want to read again - and then cue wikipedia/tvtropes/encyclopedia dramatica syndrome: all sense of time would be lost and I'd follow links to everyone's blogs and spend so much time reading that I forget to write and finish my creative writing assignment. But I have really enjoyed reading all the blogs, and it'd be awesome if you all continue.

So in conclusion...

Carry on, comrades.
